Instructions

What Are We Doing? Juggle the ball as many times as you can before the ball hits the floor

Where Should We Do It? Driveway, sidewalk, backyard,

What Do We Need? Soccer ball (or any ball, hackysack etc)

How Should We Set Up? Make sure your space is clear of obstacles you could slip or trip on

How Do We Do It?

1) Drop the ball from your hands towards your foot and kick it up

2) Continue to kick or knee the ball up as many times in a row without letting the ball hit the ground

3) Record the number of times you are able to kick the ball up before it hits the ground

4) Try two attempts and total your score from both attempts

5) Have your Unified partner complete the above steps

Scoring: Take the athlete’s score from both of their attempts (5+3=8) and the Unified partners total from their two attempts (4+2=6) and add them together for your combined total: 8+6=14

Instructions

What Are We Doing? In one minute, dribble through the cones as many times as you can

Where Should We Do It? Driveway, sidewalk, backyard, long hall (with permission)

What Do We Need? Soccer ball, eight cones (cans, rolled up socks) tape measure (if you have one) and a stopwatch or timer on your phone

How Should We Set Up? Make sure your space is clear of any obstacles you could slip or trip on. Place the eight cones (or objects) in a line with 1 meter, or 1 BIG step, between each one.

How Do We Do It?

1) Start at one end of the cones. Dribble the soccer ball weaving between the cones all the way to the end.

2) Dribble beside the cones in a straight line back to the beginning.

3) Continue to dribble through the cones as many times as you can until the one minute is up.

4) One point is awarded each time a cone is passed in a weave. If you miss going between the cones do not count them.

Scoring: While doing the dribbling drill Mike got through the cones 1 and a half times, but he didn’t weave through 2 of the cones. So he passed 12 cones, but 2 were taken out because of not weaving through them. His score would be 10.

Instructions

What Are We Doing? Seeing how many times you can score when you take 10 shots.

Where Should We Do It? Driveway, sidewalk, backyard

What Do We Need? Soccer ball (or any large ball you can kick), two pylons (cans, rocks, socks), tape or string, measuring tape

How Should We Set Up? Make sure your space is clear of anything you could trip or slip on. Set up your goal by placing two items 4 meters, or 4 BIG steps, apart. Measure 6 meters or 6 BIG steps from the center of the goal line and mark your shooting line with tape or a rope.

How Do We Do It?

1) From the shooting line take 10 shots at your goal

2) Keep track of how many times your shot goes between the two goal markers.

3) Each goal is worth 1 point.

Scoring: Keep track of how many goals you score out of the 10 shots you take and give yourself 1 point for each goal. If Alex scored 6 times and missed 4 times he would enter in 6 points as his final score.
